The Lodge is situated on 2 acres on the edge of Kohukohu village. The grounds are surrounded by a mature flax border, and include a mix of lawn, large specimen trees and a simple coastal feel, with ever-changing harbour views. The property attracts abundant native birdlife, including Tuis, Herons, Wood Pigeons, Fantails, Shining Cuckoos and shore birds.
It is a one minute drive or short, leisurely walk (10 minutes or less) to the Kohukohu village centre, with its café, general store, art galleries, and pub.
